Aiming High in Faith, Love and Learning

Parent Staff Association (PSA)

Christ Church School - Parent Staff Association (PSA)

The Parent Staff Association (PSA) is a friendly and welcoming community that brings parents, carers, staff, and children together to support Christ Church School. As a registered charity, the PSA works to enhance school life by raising funds that support learning, wellbeing, and enrichment opportunities for all pupils.

Established many years ago, the PSA works closely with the school to identify areas where extra resources can make a meaningful difference. Alongside fundraising, we organise social events that help build strong connections across our school community.

Who Is Part of the PSA?

Every parent or carer of a child at Christ Church School is automatically a member of the PSA — there’s no paperwork and no commitment required. Being part of the PSA is simply about being involved in our school community, in whatever way suits you.

Each year, a small committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to help coordinate events and represent the views of parents and carers.

Current Committee Members

  • Chair: Emma Barley

  • Treasurer: John Cranwell

  • Secretary: Caroline Egan

  • Event Organisers:

    • Caroline Egan

    • Angela Sleah

We are always happy to welcome new faces, ideas, and enthusiasm. Whether you have lots of time or just a little, your input is valued and appreciated.

What Fundraising Events Are Organised?

Throughout the year, the PSA organises a range of fun, family-friendly events that bring our community together. These events are a great way to meet other families, enjoy school life, and support a good cause.

How Is the Money Raised Used?

Money raised by the PSA is used to support projects and resources that enhance pupils’ learning experiences and wellbeing, helping to provide opportunities beyond the school’s core funding.

How Can I Help or Get Involved?

Getting involved can be as simple as attending an event, helping out occasionally, sharing ideas, or joining the committee. Every contribution helps strengthen our community and supports our children.

How Can I Get in Touch?

If you’d like to find out more or get involved with the PSA, please speak to a committee member or contact the school office admin@christchurch.herts.sch.uk for further information.
