How to Apply for a Reception Place

1. Apply Online (Quick & Easy)
   You can apply for your child’s Reception place through the Hertfordshire County Council online application system. It works on phones, tablets, or computers.

2. Paper Application
   If you prefer, a paper form is also available. You can request it from Hertfordshire County Council.

3. Key Dates

   • Applications open: Early November

   • Deadline for applications: 15 January

   • Offers released: Mid-April

4. After the Offer
   Once your child has been offered a place, the school will ask you to complete a New Starter Form (see below) to collect important information, which can be completed online or on paper.
